Los Araucanos is a 50,000-acre working estancia. It is a vast place. Its size, along with its geography, topography, and vegetation, provides the perfect habitat and a unique refuge for the diverse fauna of the area, which is why wildlife of all kinds is so abundant. There is no other place like it in the entire region. As you approach Los Araucanos, you will begin to see different species of partridges (at least four), doves, large pigeons, parrots, parakeets, all kinds of hawks and birds of prey, and more. Free-ranging herds of blackbuck antelope, wild boar, deer, pampas foxes, vizcachas, Patagonian hares (mara), European hares, armadillos, and rheas can also be found.
